ICG SOUTH BALKANS

ICG's latest Kosovo Briefing, "Who Will Lead the Kosovo Albanians Now?: Making Sense of Kosovo's Feuding Factions" (28 June), argues that it is time for Kosovo Albanians to put aside their differences in order to create a unified political front. Given the disintegration of the LDK within Kosovo itself and the broad-based popular support now universally enjoyed by the KLA and the leader of its provisional government, Hashim Thaci, the now defunct "government of the Republic of Kosovo-in-exile" led by Bujar Bukoshi should be dissolved and the LDK should take up the positions set aside for them in the provisional government.
